Homemade Almond Milk

Bright natural dining room nook with vases plates and fruits on the table.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of almonds (raw & organic)

  • pinch of salt

  • filtered water for soaking almonds

  • approx. 4 cups of filtered water

  • 2 pitted medjoul dates

Steps

  1. Cover the almonds with water, add the salt and soak overnight.

  2. Drain and rinse the almonds and peel off the skins (peeling optional).

  3. Place almonds with filtered water and dates in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

  4. Strain using a nut bag or a cheese cloth (I like using a fine mesh strainer with an added cheese cloth over the top).

  5. Pour into a Mason jar and enjoy! Can be stored approx. 4 days in the fridge.
